For the fourth time, we had the pleasure of playing to the runners of the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon 2019.
We were playing outside the Royal Wells Hotel, Mount Ephraim in the town, as the runners entered the last mile or so to the finish line, playing along to the following set list.
We overcame the usual technical issues getting the sound right, just in time for the first runner.
What we like most about this event, is the appreciation of the runners, they smile and wave as they go past, some even dance!
I am on holiday in the area on 9th September and wanted to come along please. The only telephone number I can find is that of the George and they did confirm you will be there on 9th. Also a bit cheeky, can I bring a non-playing friend who would like to watch. Any problems please let me know. But great to play with another group.
