Here’s a quick round up of key TWUNTings of 2012.
We had some really great TWUNT nights, featuring
- Numerous TWUNT happy birthdays – we’re getting the hang of that one now.
- Special TWUNT nights, including Halloween Fancy Dress.
- Tributes to the likes of Monkees’ – Davy Jones, Dad’s Army’s – Clive Dunn and Andy Williams (video)
Some TWUNTS got married and even had other TWUNTS playing on the day.
A few of us had the pleasure of playing Alice Cooper’s ‘Poison’ in a yurt. (photos)
For the 2nd year, we played at SpadeWork in May.
Our 2nd Birthday (read article). We’re looking forward to our 3rd.

Following the closure of the High Brooms Tavern we went on a Pub Tour, taking in The Opera House, The Black Horse, The Beau Nash, The Cross Keys, The Royal Oak, Sankeys, and The Bedford.

Headway – we played at a dinner dance for local charity Headway – here’s our fastest “Nothing Compares” yet (video), we managed to help them raise £640.
September, we joined “The Orange Circus Band” for an impromptu song in The Royal Oak (video)
Louise Parker’s CD launch and a TWUNT Flash Mob rendition of Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” (video) followed by our favourite, “Rawhide into a Hero” & (video)
Skater Uke – backing track for this local videographer’s video was taken from our evening in the Beau Nash.
We played Penshurst Village Christmas Market, dusting off the Christmas song book.
Children in Need – on Radio Kent – TV BBC South East – raising £310 (full article)
